Using promotional nudging to drive a 3.6% increase in conversions
What’s better than a free bottle of wine? Six free bottles of wine. P&O were launching a promotional offer where customers sailing from Dover to Calais for a short duration received a free case of wine. The issue was, many of the customers making this booking didn’t claim their complimentary vino.
Not wanting those customers who missed out on this deal to whine (pun intended), Qubit helped P&O implement a nudge campaign that triggered a pop-up to highlight to customers when they were eligible. The test successfully drove conversions and was subsequently expanded to include other promotions, enabling P&O to increase the visibility of their promotional activity and drive customer satisfaction.
