Gartner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant for Personalization Engines1 is big news.

Gartner is one of the world’s leading analyst, research and advisory companies. It provides insight to help business leaders make decisions. With the Magic Quadrant research, Gartner evaluates vendors within a market based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute.

Qubit have been named a Leader in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Personalization Engines.

The new research

This is the first research of its kind for personalization. We believe the report recognizes the growing importance of personalization as a category and recognizes the distinct and differentiated providers.

In a Gartner report called, “Use Data-Driven Personalization to Grow Digital Commerce,” Jennifer Polk, Research Vice President at Gartner, wrote:

“Customer expectations for personalization are rising due to increasing interaction with digital technology, such as sophisticated websites, mobile devices and applications, and social networks that recognize them as individuals, track their behavior and use this data (advanced and predictive analytics), to tailor the experience. These experiences set the standard for personalization in digital commerce."2

We feel Qubit has been named a Leader for a number of reasons including our focus on the market, the features in our personalization platform and for our focus on delivering solutions for marketing and tech teams from leading retail, travel and egaming brands.

Product innovation

On the platform side, we’ve been working to continuously improve our infrastructure, data collection, speed and scale. We now collect over 120,000 events per second (that’s 20 times more events per second than there are tweets per second, worldwide), and deliver over 55 billion personalizations per month (that’s about 8 each, for every single person on the planet). And we’re not resting on our laurels. We’ve got big plans, including more integrations to enable secure and scalable personalized experiences over more channels, improved functionality for developers and making everything easier to use for marketers.

We’ve also brought true 1:1 personalization to mobile with Qubit and are working on ways to help businesses get started on the path to personalization. Watch this space.

This is just the most recent of the wonderful accolades Qubit has received in 2018. We've been made Top Rated on TrustRadius; and, alongside our customer ColourPop we recently won the ‘Best Product Breakthrough Collaboration’ at the Glossy Awards with Qubit.

We’re delighted with this recognition, but nothing makes us happier than seeing our customers winning with personalization.

This is where the magic really happens

What matters most is when our customers leverage Qubit Pro and Qubit Aura to create innovative and powerful customer experiences that deliver impact and revenue.

L’OCCITANE en Provence use Qubit Aura to curate 1:1 mobile web experiences ensuring unique and relevant personalizations for each visitor, this has increased conversion rates by 159%. Qubit machine learning has also helped them uncover interesting visitor segments hidden in the data, like late-night browsers who now see an overlay recommending products to promote a restful night’s sleep.

The power of visitor data has also had a huge impact for Mothercare, who use a combination of survey (with Qubit Visitor Pulse), CRM and browsing data to identify key segments and use templated messages to deliver targeted experiences quickly and at scale. And all the while, they’re achieving $1.6m pcm in attributed revenue with Qubit Aura.

Express Gifts use Qubit Pro, and social proof, in particular, to deliver over £1 million in annualized revenue, and use Qubit Aura to double conversion rates for mobile users. Thomas Cook Holidays have achieved a 6.0% increase in conversion rate with Qubit product recommendations and Ladbrokes are creating homepage personalizations that increase activity by 10%.

It’s the powerful experiences that our customers deliver with Qubit that makes us a Leader. To learn more, you can get a complimentary copy of Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Personalization Engines.
