Personally Identifiable Information

Personal data means any information relating to: An identified or identifiable natural person or an identified or identifiable legal entity. Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is a commonly used term to refer to those parts of customer data that could be used to distinguish or trace their identity. Both terms are used in various legislation and the meaning can differ across jurisdictions.

How is personal data and personally identifiable information used by Qubit?

Qubit only accesses customer data to provide the selected Qubit products and professional services as detailed in the Data Processing Addendum available here.

Qubit does not generally know what data clients choose to collect and store and cannot distinguish between personal data and non-personal data. In practice, Qubit treats all customer data in the same way, applying the same robust security measures to all data, irrespective of whether it is personal data/PII or not.
