ColourPop and Qubit Wins Best Breakthrough Product Collaboration at Glossy Awards 2018

Qubit and ColourPop partnership created custom browsing experience using AI-powered mobile discovery solution Qubit Aura

Qubit, the leading marketing personalization technology provider, and ColourPop, the beauty brand born on Instagram, took top honors at the Glossy Awards gala, winning the Best Breakthrough Product Collaboration. The annual Glossy Awards Gala, held June 14 in New York City, honors the brands, media companies and technology firms that are transforming the fashion and beauty industries at a time of seismic change.
ColourPop deployed Qubit Aura, the first AI-powered product discovery solution for mobile web, so that the brand could provide a personalized shopping experience on the small screen. Shoppers tap the Qubit Aura icon to see a curated experience - a layer which sits on top of the site and shows a social newsfeed-like discovery stream of products - already different for new visitors and those who had previously launched Qubit Aura. Since deploying Qubit Aura, ColourPop has seen a 31% open rate and a 4.2% uplift in Revenue per Visitor (RPV).

In 2017, ColourPop turned to Qubit for help with a common challenge plaguing many beauty and retail brands today: successfully converting the growing number of mobile shoppers from browsers to buyers. Qubit’s research shows that by the end of 2017, mobile accounted for double the traffic of laptop and desktop computers, increasing 93 percent year-over-year when comparing 2017 to 2016. It also revealed that 61 percent of consumers use their mobile devices for browsing and inspiration and just 58 percent that used mobile to make purchases.
